WASHINGTON, (June 18, 2025) — As the Senate weighs billions in proposed Medicaid cuts this month, the Coalition to Strengthen America’s Healthcare today launched its latest ad, These Halls, as part of its ongoing national Faces of Medicaid campaign. The ad connects the decisions being made in the halls of Congress with the devastating impacts that Medicaid cuts will have on all patients’ access to quality care across the country. The ad ends by urging viewers to call their Senators and demand that they protect Medicaid.
The ad launch comes amid growing concern over the Senate’s Medicaid cuts, which go further than the House-approved $700 billion cuts. These sweeping cuts could gut healthcare coverage for patients across the country, including those in vulnerable communities, and destabilize the entire healthcare system.
Medicaid is a lifeline—not just for the 70 million+ Americans it covers, but for the whole country. Beyond stripping care from the people who need it most, Medicaid cuts could greatly reduce support for patients and hospitals leading to layoffs, service cuts, and even hospital closures. As healthcare resources shrink, emergency rooms become overwhelmed, and wait times increase for everyone. As the ad warns, “healthcare cuts hurt us all.”
The ad will run across national media markets as part of the Coalition’s broader Faces of Medicaid campaign, a seven-figure campaign launched in January that highlights the impact Medicaid cuts will have on children, seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and more.
