At the same time, a new poll finds that voters are concerned about corporate insurance companies’ practice of delaying and denying patients’ care and their role in higher healthcare costs.
As corporate insurance companies bank record profits by delaying and denying important care for patients and buying up physician practices to exert even more control over Americans’ care, policymakers should hold corporate insurance companies accountable and work toward long-term, sustainable solutions to lower healthcare costs.
