New Ad Contrasts the Critical, 24/7 Care Hospitals Provide with Certain Corporate Insurers’ Delays and Denials of Care

WASHINGTON — The Coalition to Strengthen America’s Healthcare today launched a new national seven-figure digital, cable, and broadcast advertising campaign focused on protecting patients’ access to 24/7 care across America and holding corporate insurers accountable for delaying and denying patient care.

The campaign features a new ad, “Every Second Counts,” that contrasts the critical 24/7 care that hospitals and health systems provide patients with the tactics of certain corporate insurers that intentionally make it more difficult for patients to receive care while boosting their record profits even higher.

Additional digital advertising will spotlight how certain corporate insurers are exploiting the Medicare Advantage program, putting patient care at risk and bolstering their profits.

This follows the Coalition’s campaigns earlier this year which focused on the essential care hospitals provide patients 24/7, regardless of their ability to pay, and strengthening access to that care in communities across the U.S.
