New Coalition ad underscores hospitals’ role in 24/7 care and the value of care close to home, especially in rural communities.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Coalition to Strengthen America’s Healthcare today launched its latest connected television advertisement, Close to Home, spotlighting the essential role local hospitals play in communities across the country and the growing financial strain that threatens their ability to serve patients, particularly in rural America.
Close to Home highlights the care hospitals provide every day, featuring patients, providers and other caregivers, and first responders. The ad underscores how local hospitals support communities at critical moments, while facing mounting financial pressures that put access to care at risk.
The launch comes as hospitals nationwide, especially in rural communities, face significant financial challenges as inadequate reimbursements and rising operational costs have left many facilities struggling to keep their doors open. When local hospitals close or cut services, patients can lose access to emergency care, maternity services, rehabilitation, and other essential care that communities rely on to stay healthy.
The Coalition’s connected TV ad will run across Washington D.C. networks as part of a four-week campaign.
