Stories from the State

Advocates from across the country submit their patient stories about 24/7 care, large corporate insurers, and rural healthcare access in order to highlight the importance of access to care.
I live in the middle of nowhere in rural Arkansas. If we didn’t have the health center we have here, it would be a 30-40 min drive to see anyone in town. I’m immensely grateful to the community healthcare workers, nurses, and doctors out here. My daughter, especially, is much safer at the health center out here, and it puts my mind at ease.

At Forrest City Hospital, I experienced such good care. They helped me get my heart back in rhythm. They were very caring and took great care of me for three days.
