Stories from the State

Advocates from across the country submit their patient stories about 24/7 care, large corporate insurers, and rural healthcare access in order to highlight the importance of access to care.
I was in a car accident that broke my neck. I suffered a brain injury and other internal injuries. The doctors at Mercy Hospital saved my life. Medicare paid for my surgeries & ongoing care. I would’ve died without it. I’m grateful for the services and care it provides me.

I just got home from the hospital last night after a week of being in there . I had a heart attack that took me there after a fall. I had the best care at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma . I live in Yukon just West of there and these people were awesome care people and not afraid to show it . Very excellent care, food, nurses, doctors and just everything
