After spending 72 days caring for COVID-19 patient Alfredo, the team at Catholic Health’s Mercy Hospital lined the halls to celebrate his release from the hospital. Alfredo’s sweet reunion with his family is thanks to his perseverance and the expert care he received from hospital workers.

After an ambulance took Angela to Barlow Respiratory Hospital with COVID-19, she remained on a ventilator for 3 months. Unable to visit her, Angela’s husband relied on the thoughtful and professional care and communication provided by his wife’s hospital staff. Now, thanks to the support she received from dedicated Hospital Heroes, Angela is home and recovering with her family right by her side.

But as a veteran, he’s no stranger to battle, having spent 24 years serving our country. And now, thanks to his care team at Tucson VA Medical Center, John is finally reunited with his family and celebrating the milestones he missed.

When Buddy’s COVID-19 symptoms continued to linger after his initial recovery, he turned to Tidelands’ new Post-COVID-19 Recovery Program, a comprehensive, coordinated care and treatment program for long-haulers like Buddy. The specialized program and healthcare workers provided the customized care and support he needed to feel like himself again.
